Light-Trail
'The Light Trail' is a prototyped concept for an interactive wooden rail @ Paulus Sykehjem in Oslo.
The elderly residents at the institute are encouraged to use the
common stairwell in the building as part of their daily PE routine. However, due to the drab interiors, motivation is lacking.
The interactive rail provides tangible feedback and visual stimulation via use of soft lights and touch sensors, giving the user a sense of progress and achievement with every step taken.
